We supply filters, cable and pre-confectioned motor and feedback cables, regen resistors, etc.

Here at Motor Technology we have a dedicated spares and repairs department and we supply literally hundreds of accessories and components for drives and motors. This includes things like, connecting cables, filters, gearboxes, encoders, option boards, customer prints, ferrite rings and ramp generator options. We also sell second hand and refurbished products, and, if you want to replace an old drive, there's a good chance we'll buy it off you.

We also service legacy products. Old drives that may not be in production any more can still be serviced in many cases. We can service drives that are over 20 years old and keep machinery running smoothly that would otherwise need to be completely retrofitted.

Some customers might want to upgrade a drive but not necessarily to the latest technology. If it's an old analogue drive it might be costly and probably unnecessary to upgrade to digital. In such cases a newer analogue drive would be just the job and it would be the most cost effective option in terms of purchase price and machine downtime.

We can supply brand new units of older product, or we can supply refurbished units, or provide a repair. In fact this is one of the things for which we've become well known. We'll keep your machinery and equipment running by finding the lowest cost solution for you. Most manufacturers and distributors would want to supply something new, and that may not always be the most cost effective solution. It might not even be the best engineering solution.
