Running for Better Mental Health

The Great Manchester Run

On Sunday 20th May 2012, Andrew Fallows, Motor Technology's managing director, his son Mike and daughter Vicky are all running in the BUPA Great Manchester Run to raise money for the charity Mind.

The 10 kilometre run has a city centre route and will be braodcast live on BBC TV. Up to 40,000 will be taking part in the event, some running as individuals, and some running to raise money for their favourite charities. Participants will be kept motivated by 'bands on the run' and cheering crowds, so why not come down and join in the fun?

Speaking of the event Andrew said, 'We took part in the Great Manchester Run last year on behalf of Mind, and we really wanted to continue our support of the charity this year too. Thanks to everyone who sponsored us last year, we really appreciated it.'

Statistic show that every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem.
