The GEL 8100 series controllers, also known as EcoController

Lenord+Bauer, the German manufacturer of sensor and motion controllers, has announced that a number of products that will be discontinued from the end of September 2011.

Production of the GEL 150 series absolute encoders and the GEL 170 series absolute linear scales will be stopped.

Also to be discontinued is the GEL 8100 (EcoController) and associated products such as the GEL 8810 operator panels, interface and I/O modules.

In addition some of the GEL 8200 series controllers, in particular the GEL 8235, 8236, 8245 and 8246 will also become obsolete. The discontinued lines are as a result of new product developments and dwindling orders for some of the older units. Final orders can be placed up to the end of September.

The GEL2100 series of high-frequency coils (HF-Spules) are to be discontinued at the end of 2019

This affects the following types: GEL 2100, GEL 2101,GEL 2102, GEL 2103,GEL 2104, GEL 2120, GEL 2121,GEL 2122, GEL 2123 and GEL 2104.
