Small servodrive packs a big punch
Optimised for the lower power output range LTi Motion's ServoOne Junior servodrive is well worth a look and is suitable for a wide range of applications. It combines cost effectiveness and minimal size with all the high performance features of its big brothers in the ServoOne range of solutions.
The ServoOne Junior offers maximum performance with rated currents of 3.0-8.0 A at 230 V and 2.0-16.0 A at 400 V with a range of four compact designs. The ServoOne Junior is functionally compatible with the ServoOne drives family and is programmed and commissioned from the same Drive Manager software tool.
At the heart of Drive Manager is the flexibility to configure the drives for both standard servo drives and rotary or linear direct drives. A rated switching frequency of 8 kHz and a current controller cycle time of 62.5 µs (16 kHz) ensure superior responsiveness and high dynamics.
An extensive range of pre-controls and compensation methods deliver exceptional path accuracy. Field bus interfaces for EtherCAT, NEW! PowerLiNK, Sercos III or PROFINET IRT allow synchronised motion tasks or profiles to be sent. The classic field bus systems such as CANopen or PROFIBUS are also available.
The ServoOne Junior model incorporates the SIL3/PLe certified STO safety function. This provides the foundation for rapid integration into a wide variety of machine safety solutions. The integrated PLC, programmable to IEC 61131-3, additionally permits implementation of special or complex motion sequences and control functions directly in the drive.
Fitting into the ServoOne family, which offers rated currents all the way up to 450 A, the ServoOne junior is optimised especially for the lower end of the power range. This family offers AC and DC supplied axis controllers as well as environmentally friendly DC supply units with sinusoidal mains feedback. This very broad portfolio enables a wide range of motion solutions such as, handling systems, precision machine tools, high-performance printing, packaging technologies, and simulators etc.
